I like doing these pairings of photos I took with the closest I can get using Google Earth. Clicking on the Google Earth view will trigger that view in the new Google Earth. It's all web-based, no download, easy. The above images are one of the best examples of this so far.
Cheddar Gorge is an amazing and evocative place, very Tolkeinesque. A combination of spectacular landscapes and elaborate limestone caves. I visited there during the Great Big Tour of 2005. Definitely a highlight.
