Announcing the newest drop in the Great Big War on Christmas design series, #4 and going strong. This is, literally, the newest, in that I just finished making it this morning. The full title is, All I Want for Christmas Is the Means of Production - The War on Christmas, but has been shortened to Karl "Santa" Marx for brevity.
After getting the idea for this one, I started making a much more elaborate version using a different pic of Marx and a cigarette ad from the '40s that features Santa. It wasn't too long before I realized that the results were too subtle. This Chinese poster was lot punchier, simpler, and (frankly) a much easier editing job.
